A dynamic leader of the largest publicly-traded U.S. water and wastewater utility, Susan Story has been at the helm as CEO since May 2014, having served as CFO for the prior year.
Susan leads American Water’s team of 7,100 professionals who provide service to more than 15 million people in 46 states and Ontario, Canada. She also serves as the independent lead director for Raymond James Financial, board director of Dominion Resources, and on the board of Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Board of Advisors.
